Through our cultural partnerships and collaborations, students will be offered privileged access to important collections in Liverpool and experts working in the field. The course will examine the exciting relationships and intersections between creativity and management, art and business. It will also be fundamental to discuss how societal, political and environmental shifts have important implications for those working in the creative industries, be it marketing, engagement, production or distribution. Our course aims to explore what shape, systems and structures exist, and how this affects various forms of value, the management and ‘flow’ of creative goods, and the creative process. This BA Art Business (Top-Up) course is essentially about employability, providing you with the knowledge, understanding and experience needed to work effectively in the creative industries.
This combination will help you understand the complexities of business and people management processes. The Business & Management Major provides a broad-based framework to prepare you for a career in the global business arena. The judges acknowledged the broad ranging and powerful contribution Alice has made to the Board. From contributing to an exemplar business plan; recruiting new trustees and senior staff and chairing the new development committee, Alice’s commitment to Clean Break’s work is obvious. The judges felt this was a true partnership, with both organisations working together to deliver an exciting and iconic project. The scale and impact of the project generated real, tangible changes for both parties extending their brand reputation in the regional, national and international markets.
Politics and International Relations
Known as the Hull 2017 Angels Business Consortium (of which Force-7 Ltd was one), the consortiums total sponsorship of £374,000 helped Hull win the city changing bid in 2013. Global Lives Research conducted in the Centre addresses the challenges facing society, helping to change the lives of people around the world by bringing economic, social and cultural benefits. Drawing on expertise from the university’s Art History and Visual Culture team and across the world, lectures and seminars are framed around conversations with internationally recognised curators, artists, researchers and writers. Extensive use of invited curators and museum/gallery professionals as guest speakers to contribute lectures to the taught modules as appropriate. To celebrate, and further extend, the strong relationship of staff within the University of Exeter and the University of Geneva, the two universities have launched a new seed fund to support developing research links.

Arts & Business Northern Ireland (A&B NI), formerly known as the Association of Business Sponsorship of the Arts , was set up in Northern Ireland in 1987 and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2012.
